   what better car to have where you can drive it to the track, on the track, and then drive it home… besides it just looks sweet.

   I saw this car at Michigan this weekend. Flew in from L.A. and finally got to meet the builder. What a cool cat! HE told me he wwould build one for me for 100k!!! When I win the lottery this guy will be my 1st call. I WANT ONE OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wow. Amazing, most street legal versions/replicas of racecars are heavily altered compared to the track version. This things looks like you just put lights on an actual ‘Vette GTP.

    I’m more partial to modern Le Mans racers than the old Group C/IMSA GTP cars, but nonetheless I’ve always loved the Corvette GTP. It just always looked to much better than other GTPs.

    yeah, it really needs a rear diffuser or something to fill in the gaps. this was a neat race car but it looks antiquated compared to the newer barn cars. I heard these guys bought the original tooling though.

    Thank you DBoy02,,this car was built from the original molds of the race car,its a super clone and I’m glad you liked it,,put all my heart in this car

    I’m curious: Do you have the molds to make the short-tailed version run by Peerless Racing later in the car’s life? (same version used to make the failed Eagle 700 Group C car)

    the later gtp/intrepid has the MOST downforce of any race car, ever! it’s a racecar, it’s not meant to be pretty.

    a cammed LS7 makes almost as much power as the v8 intrepid…and gets 20 mpg.
