2008 Dodge Charger R/T vs. 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
Cars like the new 2008 Pontiac G8 GT and 2008 Dodge Charger R/T were once supposed to be every American’s birthright. Brawny, V8-powered, relatively affordable rear-drive cruisers that can blow through a couple of big Western states in an afternoon at 90 mph — their drivers staring at the horizon through Ray-Bans, steering with one hand and smoking a Pall Mall with the other.
I drove another G8 GT today at Beck & Masten, here in Houston. Let me tell you something you can bank on: I don’t give one infinitesimal wombat shit WHERE it’s made. When you put your foot down it damn sure feels “All American” to me. Great frickin’ car. I’m gonna get one!

07SGT, I also tested one, and I’m also getting one. I punched it from 40 to 90 like nothing.

WHAT? Did you not see this video? It beats it in every single way. Looks, performance, and price. I think you should do the world a favor go buy a gun load it put the barrel in you mouth and pull the trigger you are officially to stupid to live.
Keep in mind that the charger R/T isnt the highest performance model of it, but the G8 was, so i didn’t think it was fair. But the Charger still is better anyhow.
I just purchased the g8 gt for $29,000 its cheaper than the charger and the fact that its lighter makes it a little faster than the charger rt

I toke one for a spin, but not long enough for me to say its a good car, but i tell u it was fun. am thinking of purchasing one, but am still try to find out more about it, do u like ur G8

The G8 is not an Australian Vauxhall. It is an Australian Holden.
Vauxhall is not Australian, it is British.
The Pontiac G8, Vauxhall VXR8 and the Holden Commodore are all made in Australia by Holden.

The G8 GT is the not the highest performance G8 the G8 GXP is with 415 HP and 0-60 in 4.7. These cars walk all over the dodges…those things are like driving a school bus.
